○ Semantic search
Our search engine is an advanced semantic solution. Search is no longer only based on the spelling of a word but also on its meaning. A query launched on given terms will automatically and instantaneously result in a very useful term expansion. Thanks to this semantic process, the user can retrieve relevant documents even when the terms of his original query lack in precision.
The immediate effects of semantic search are a richer access to relevant documents, a better coverage of the subject and an important increase in successful queries. EnMentoSoft Enterprise Search can very quickly and easily be fed with news languages. For the time being our solution supports English, Spanish, French and Danish. Our coverage evolves with the needs of our customers and partners. We have identified and localized linguistic and semantic data of number of relevant languages. We can therefore fully process and support any given language within a very short amount of time.

EES allows you to categorize information following a potentially infinite number of parameters. This way, it is possible to actively discriminate results sorted by category. Users can consequently, by a single click, restrict results of a query to a folder, a subject, a department, a group, a subsidiary, …etc (i.e.: UK, Marketing, Frankfurt office, …)

○ Drill-down navigation
EES enables users to narrow-down search results by providing the possibility to perform a new search among results from another query. This process can be repeated indefinitely until the search results are conclusive.

The possibility of launching an advanced search is often useful. If you have an idea of when a document has been created or if you know that it is a PDF file, you might as well consider narrowing-down the scope of your search by quickly entering those parameters.

EnMentoSoft Enterprise Search perfectly integrates in a SharePoint Server 2007 environment. Our solution enables an efficient indexing of all documents as well as all pages in a SharePoint site. A series of search interface web parts is also available and allows a user-friendly search process directly from the SharePoint platform.

○ Full Active Directory integration
Our system supports entirely your Microsoft Active Directory set-up. Documents with restricted access will only be retrievable by authorized personnel. Without permission, the results of a query will not even display the link to a restricted document.

○ Statistics module
EES allows the administrator to generate statistic reports enabling to quantify and qualify the search activity on a general level, for a group of users or even for an individual user. This statistic module makes it possible to manage search and ultimately to guarantee an optimized access to information. It is, for example, possible to visualize the most searched upon terms, the unsuccessful queries, …etc. If statistics show poor results on a recurrent query, this might be a sign for the administrator to make changes in the term expansion for a given word.
Indexing of internal sources
EES’s greatest asset is the ability to index and make searchable all the non-structured data available within an organization. Non structured data accounts for about 80% of all the data within a company. EES has a specific connector used for the systematic indexing of all these documents. When indexing, this connector reads the documents in their full length. The indexing process is very efficient and incremental. A previously indexed document will only be re-indexed if it since has been changed.
Indexing of external websites
EES enables you to index an infinite number of websites and gives you the opportunity to launch queries beyond the boundaries of your organization.

○ Indexing of databases and DB presenter
EES indexes most types of databases and enables you to present the data in an Html format through a special module. It is therefore possible to retrieve valuable information without having to access your ERP or CRM system. EES supports the major DB protocoles such as ODBC, OLE, Microsoft SQL, ...

In order to facilitate interactions with 3rd part softwares EnMentoSoft has created a fully documented .NET API.

○ CustomNode
EnMentoSoft proposes, for very specific needs, a custom node. This advanced node enables you to further develop our engine and create new customized features.
Internal document surveillance
With EES it is possible to set-up an internal surveillance of the documents. Users can subscribe to alerts if changes are made to a series of documents or folders. Rules can be set-up for these alerts. Alerts can be triggered by some words you would have defined in advance and be sent to you by e-mail.
External website surveillance
In the same way it very easy for you to monitor various websites and to subscribe to changes. This feature is very useful if you wish to receive updates about your competition, news about your line of business or a daily press review. As for internal document surveillance, you can set-up specific rules to trigger alerts.
